Rob Herd for Chester South & Eddisbury
Rob is a trusted local teacher with years of experience campaigning for his local community.
Exercised to go into politics by his experiences in the classroom and the lack of action to help children in the area, Rob has been a Parish Councillor since 2021, where he is currently Chair of the Strategic Resources committee. Rob is a Trustee on the board of a Cheshire-wide racial equality charity and has been a school governor since 2017.
Having originally trained a solicitor and run a restaurant in Chester city centre, Rob was previously a Head of Languages in a local High School before moving to a school near Warrington. He has lived on the outskirts of Chester since 2009 and lives with his partner and Welsh Springer Spaniel.
