Carol lives in with her husband Mark and their dog. She works for their own company supplying Programme & Project Planning/PMO expertise across numerous industries including IT finance, IT NHS, energy sector, transport sector and manufacturing.
She has been a keen and active member of her local Liberal Democrat Party for a number of years, and has taken on the role of Diversity and Inclusion Officer on the Local Party Executive. She has recently been re-elected to the North West Regional Executive. At this year's federal conference, she joined Liberal Democrats supporting Seekers of Sanctuary and agreed to become their Membership Officer.
She was elected to Neston Town Council in 2023, where she serves on various committees, and is the Council’s Diversity Champion. She is the council's representative on the NHS stakeholders Community Forum Group.
She also volunteers with a local refugee group. Working with others to settle asylum seekers, refugees and their families into the local area.
She is a keen member of a local brass band and choir. To relax she enjoys walking and exercising the dog with her husband and taking part in the local monthly village quiz night.
