Lizzie Jewkes is our candidate in the Wolverham by-election on May 2nd. 

A lifelong Lib Dem, Lizzie lives in Ellesmere Port and owns award winning Grace Tea Room in the town centre. Lizzie is a woman who gets things done. She campaigned within the party for the income tax threshold to be raised so that no one on the minimum wage had to pay tax.

In Coalition Government, the Lib Dems made this happen, making the lowest paid in Britain better off. Lizzie has long campaigned for a Town Council for Ellesmere Port. "It is appalling that Ellesmere Port is one of the very few places in Cheshire without local representation" she says. "We need a local council of local people to speak up for us".

Lizzie will be an visible and active Councillor for Wolverham.
